By day, I've been building complex commercial software systems for over 25 years. But in my "spare" time, I manage a few short-term rental properties here in Canada.

I built SaneHost because I was slowly going insane. I was managing multiple listings across Airbnb and VRBO, and the mental load of syncing calendars, coordinating cleaners, and remembering check-in instructions was becoming a full-time job. I looked at the big property management platforms, but they were too expensive and complicated for a host with just a few units.

So, I did what any engineer would do: I wrote my own scripts to fix the chaos.

Those scripts worked so well for me that I polished them up into SaneHost. My goal is simple: to give independent hosts a reliable, affordable tool that helps you sleep better at night.
