Someone sent you a cleaning schedule link

It opens a page showing which places need cleaning, on which days, and when the next guest arrives. You do not need an account, you do not need an app, and you never pay for it. Open it whenever you want to know what is coming.

What the link can and cannot do

It only shows

The link is read-only. Nothing you tap can move a booking, cancel a job, or change what the host sees. Open it as often as you like.

It reloads every time

Opening the link fetches the schedule again, so you get the latest version Sane Host has rather than a copy of last week's. Sane Host re-checks the host's booking calendars on a cycle, not the instant they change, so a very recent change may not have landed yet.

Nothing to fill in

You are not signing up for anything, so the link asks you for nothing. The host already has your contact details or they would not have sent it to you.

It is the host's to manage

The host can set a link to expire or replace it, the same way they would change a key. If yours stops opening, ask them for a new one.

Put it in the calendar you already use

Subscribing once puts each cleaning in your own calendar next to everything else in your day. You do it once per host, and your calendar app re-reads the schedule on its own from then on — most do so every few hours. How often is the app’s decision, not ours, so when a job matters, open the link itself.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the schedule link and tap “Copy URL”, just under the subscribe bar at the top.
  2. Open Settings and find Calendar — on newer iOS it sits under Apps, on older versions it is in the main list.
  3. Tap Accounts, then Add Account, then Other.
  4. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar, paste the link, then Next and Save.

Google Calendar

  1. On a computer, open the schedule link and click “Add to Google”. Google asks you to confirm, and that is the whole job.
  2. On an Android phone, tap “Email link to me” instead, then open that email on a computer and follow the step above.
  3. Adding it on a computer is enough — it appears on your phone too, under the same Google account.

Outlook

  1. Open the schedule link and tap “Copy URL”, just under the subscribe bar at the top.
  2. In Outlook, go to Calendar, then Add calendar.
  3. Choose Subscribe from web.
  4. Paste the link, give it a name, and save.

Cleaning for more than one host?

Each host sends their own link, and each one can be subscribed to separately. Do that and every place you clean lands in one calendar, whoever the host is. There is no limit on how many you add and no account tying them together.

FAQ

Do I need an account or an app?

No. The link opens in the browser you already have. There is nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, and no password. You never pay for Sane Host — the host pays, if they pay at all.

Can I change anything on the schedule?

No. The link is read-only. You can look at the schedule and subscribe to it, and that is all it can do. Nothing you tap can move a booking or alter what the host sees.

How current is what I am looking at?

The page reads the schedule fresh every time you open it, so you get the latest version Sane Host has. That schedule comes from the host's Airbnb and VRBO calendars, which Sane Host re-checks on a cycle rather than the instant anything changes, and how often depends on the host's plan. So a booking cancelled a short while ago may not have reached the page yet. If a job looks wrong, ask the host.

What if the link stops working?

A host can set a link to expire, or replace one, the way they would change a key. If yours stops opening, ask the host for a new link. Nothing is wrong on your end.
